I found this technique among papers with a machine i bought several years ago. No author, so I can't give credit for it,
but it does produce a nice invisible hem!

                                  Note: Tension means Garment Tension

Tension - 1 dot or -2 dots means reduce the tension only 1 click below garment tension, not one whole number. Same if
it is written, + 1 or +2 dots.

                                     Method:
Cast on EON with waste yarn, knit several rows, ending with COL
                                       K 1 row Ravel cord.
Pull these needles all the way out to Hold position.

Set machine to Slip, and Knit 1 row (the needles you brought forward to hold will knit and the ones in B position with slip).
                                     Take slip buttons off
